Couponing is still trending at our household this year/season! “Do you really carry your notebook in with you?” asked one of my ‘students’ this week as she learned a few more tidbits about how to save money! Yes! I really do carry my notebook into the store MOST trips. Occasionally, I do toss a coupon in my wallet and walk into the store but not often since there are always coupons and deals waiting on me!
As a reminder, this time of year is a great time to look for tearpad coupons in stores! I have seen several displays with coupons attached throughout Kroger. Here are some other sources on where to find coupons!
Where to Find Coupons:
- Sunday Paper Coupon Inserts – coupons vary per region. Every Saturday I post what coupon inserts to expect in the Sunday paper.
- Printable Coupons – available at Coupons.com, Smartsource, and RedPlum. Make sure to look at manufacturers websites too.
- Facebook – Facebook has become a huge source of high value coupons and freebies over the last year. Make sure you follow your favorite brands on Facebook and while you are there “Like” How to Have it All too!
- Magazines – One of the best magazines to buy is All You. Most months you will find $55-$90 worth of manufacturers coupons in All You along with savings tips and recipes. This month you can score All You for just $0.83 an issue!
And this season, you’ll find tearpads and blinkies everywhere—grab one or two now even if you are not currently buying the specific product on the same day. Check expiration dates and file for a better day/sale.
- Tearpad and Blinkie Coupons – At the store look for tearpads on displays, little machines with blinking lights (Blinkie), products with sticky coupons and magazines. I am always on the lookout for coupons throughout the store. Make sure you check the bear and wine section too- you may find rebates and coupons with no alcohol purchase required.
- Digital Coupons – Some stores like Kroger allow you to load digital coupons directly to your shoppers card. Load coupons at Cellfire and Shortcuts.
- Friends, Neighbors & Co-Workers – Let everyone know that you use coupons. Many people will bring you their Sunday Coupon Inserts if they don’t use them.
Sometimes you will find coupons in unexpected places! My kids and I are constantly on the look out for coupons—like a treasure hunt! Where do you find your coupons?
